on Inkjet and Laser Printers
If you've got some bottles of Evian or some
other brand of bottled drinking water, it is a simple task to make
personalized labels for party favors. These are recommended for
keepsakes and short-term use. Make your event more memorable, easily.
Custom water bottle labels can be printed on hi-tech, synthetic and hybrid
papers, which are water-resistant, or even waterproof. The sheets come
in 8.5”x11” size and need to be cut to size for making labels. These papers
are available for use on standard inkjet and laser printers as well as
copiers.

Using a laser printer or
copier is usually the most reliable way to print your labels, or any
water-resistant documents, because the printing process used in these
machines often bonds to the paper better. Laser and copier toner is
not water soluble, so it is much easier to create a document which won't
lose its image when in contact with water.
Inkjet printing, by comparison, uses water-soluble inks in most cases,
which can be a contradiction when trying to make a water-resistant
document.

While more challenging to create,
water-resistant paper for inkjet printers does exist. Results vary
more widely, depending on your inkjet printer and the type of ink your
printer uses. For examples, archival inks, such as the Epson
Dura-Bright Inks, are more likely to withstand exposure to water than
standard inkjet printer inks.
